Camping

My girls have really enjoyed getting to sleep in this summer. They have always been very good sleepers and they love it when they get to sleep in. When I say sleeping in, I’m talking 10 or 11 o’clock in the morning. I love that they get to do this a little bit this summer. I am just not looking forward those early mornings once school starts, because they are defiantly NOT the most chipper girls first thing in the morning.

Saying all of this leads me to a conversation I overheard between Taylor and one of our friends little girls.

We went camping a couple of weeks ago with some friends of ours. They have two little girls (Shelby and Ella) around Molly and Taylor’s age. On Saturday night all four girls were getting ready to watch a movie and settle in for bed in the camper and this is the conversation I overheard between Taylor and Shelby.

Taylor - “What time do you wake up in the morning?”

Shelby – “Early”

Taylor – “Like, the same time you wake up for school? Me and Molly have to sleep in or we are very angry!”

We went camping again with this same family this past weekend and had so much fun. The girls have loved their experience at the lake and the river this summer!
