Something big has happened last week that I can’t put off posting about for too long….
Molly and Taylor started Kindergarten!!! I cannot believe they are already in school. I was a little apprehensive about separating them because they have not been apart for more than a couple of hours since they were born. Molly tends to talk over Taylor and Taylor tends to lean on Molly for answers, so we decided that it would probably be the best thing for them. We went to meet both of their teachers a few days before school started and Stuart and I both dropped them off and picked them up their first day of school. They were both so excited! We walked Molly to her class and Stuart and I both gave her a hug and a kiss. I started to walk her to her seat when she turned to give Taylor a hug and told her that she will see her later (so sweet). I am happy to say they are still doing great!

I think separating them was the best decision. One thing that I did not anticipate however was the competitiveness when they got home from school that first day.
Here is the conversation at the dinner table that night…
Taylor was telling me about her daily schedule and Molly interrupted her by saying, “No Taylor, we did story time and THEN we went outside. “
Taylor – “Molly, Mommy said that we do not have the same schedule.”
Molly – “Well, my teacher is SMART.”
This made me laugh, and for the record while their teachers could not be any more different, I have a feeling they are all pretty smart! I can’t believe how grown up they seem and how much they have already learned in just the first two weeks of school! This will be an exciting year!
