Mother's Day Weekend and a Wedding!!!

We had such a great weekend despite the rainy weather. We were able to take advantage of the only sunny/dry part of the weekend on Saturday morning. We loaded the bikes onto the jeep and headed up to the square for a group bike ride. It was such a beautiful morning, I think Stuart was in a little more pain after the ride because he had the privilege of pulling an extra 80 lbs. :o). Molly and Taylor seemed to really enjoy it, so we are going to plan on adding in some bike rides as we get breaks with this rain. After we finished up we walked around the farmers market, ate some kettle corn, and listened to some blue grass music.

We headed down the mountain later that afternoon for a friend’s wedding. I went to the wedding a little early, so that I could help with the guest book. Jackie and Josh got married at 7:30 and it was such a beautiful service, they had a really fun reception after the wedding. We were able to hang out with my parents for a little bit and some friends we don’t get to see that often. We had a good time and stayed out way to late!

Sunday we spent the day at my parents. I woke up to Molly and Taylor at my bedside with a flower. They delivered a little speech of Mother’s day blessings that was just so cute, and got me right out of bed. They were so sweet the whole day, it’s like they really wanted to make the day special for me. Stuart was not moving much that morning, so the girls and I met my parents at church and then went out for breakfast. We spent the day at my mom and dad’s, I got to take a nice Sunday nap, and then we stayed for a bbq chicken dinner.
