January and February 2011

We took the girls on a little camping trip toward the end of January out at the Buffalo river. We were invited by some or our friends and it was a small group of us that went. We thought we would be huddled up inside the old house all weekend, but we were blessed with a BEAUTIFUL winter weekend. It was easily 70 degrees outside and we were able to play and explore outside all day Saturday.

The girls had so much fun running /chasing around the boys that were out there with us. We took them on a little nature walk up the creek, ate smore’s around the campfire and exchanged ghost stories before bed…what a fun weekend!

And just one week later…………….. We were playing in the snow!

As much fun as it is to play in the snow it is starting to feel more and more like spring in our area, and we are ready for this beautiful weather to stay!
